During this pandemic, UK government hesitates to raise tax of reducing deficit or to provide the vital support at a difficult time.

Political leaders have different opinions about tax plans of this country. UK Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak, stated that the spending cannot continue to increase. He proposed that the country should raise the corporation tax from 19% to 25%. The former Conservative Party leader William Hague agrees to increase tax in some business or personal tax.

However, the business secretary Kwasi Kwarteng mentioned another viewpoint to improve UK’s current economy. As a conservative, he supports low-tax. The best way to improve the economy is to promote the big business. He has to say that the nation will confront the unexpected deficit in the future.

In addition to Sunak’s plan to raise tax, he plans to give the extra budget for the culture industry after the ease of coronavirus restriction.
