BYD is currently the world's hottest vehicle maker. BYD aspires to be the world's leading car brand by 2025, with important building pieces including European manufacturing. In addition, BYD intends to compete with Tesla by launching an entry-level hatchback and introducing automated driving.
BYD Auto was founded in January 2003. It was formed as an outgrowth of the BYD Company, a battery manufacturer. In 2005, the brand released its first vehicle, the F3. Their first hybrid car, the F3DM, was introduced in 2008. Meanwhile, their first all-electric vehicle debuted in 2009.
In recent years, Chinese EV giants have risen to the top of the automobile sector. However, BYD electric vehicles are still not offered in the United States. But that doesn't stop it.
