Professor Ferguson told the UK’s Members of Parliament in a committee that if ministers had taken the lockdown action earlier, there would have been fewer deaths in the UK. He also mentioned about the rapid virus spread in care homes because of both the deficiency of shielding the elderly and the caring staff’s working in numerous places. He also warned the infection situation in the country was in fact more serious than anticipated.
