The biggest social media platform, Facebook and Instagram are under service outage reported by users on Thanksgiving day, which people would have lots of event and normally want to show on post on such major holiday. The status of issues may include unable to access the apps, or fail to refresh pages or even can not like or save posts. Hence people may only post on other social media but with hashtag included so that once Instagram is fixed, the post would still show up. 

    However, it’s not the first time with such great users reported service outage, in 2018, issues have been presented but comparing with the first half of this year, downtime has been doubled. And there are arond 4,000 users reported problems with Instagram Thursday morning, according to outage-tracking website Down Detector.

FACEBOOK and Instagram are influential social media which most of people do reply on. And the owner of these social media should emphasize the issues with sufficiently respond and fix.
