The United States is still facing the threat of coronavirus. Dr. Anthony Fauci, the infectious disease expert, expressed that the following days would be the critical moment for a new outbreak.

As Dr. Anthony Fauci made a briefing to lawmakers, he stated that some states were experiencing the increasing of confirmed cases since some Americans did not keep the social distancing and some states were not well-prepared for the re-open state guideline to prevent the coronavirus.

During this briefing, the panel of health officials, including Dr Anthony Fauci, announced that they never suggested President Trump to lower down the testing. On the contrary, they eagerly hoped to increase more testing.

The confirmed cases in the United States were increasing day by day. Before the meeting with the House Energy and Commerce Committee, Dr. Fauci gave a pessimistic report of COVID-19 inside the United States. Dr. Fauci then stated that this virus might not disappear. Adm. Brett P. Giroir, the assistant secretary for public health, revealed his deep concern that he could not sleep at night because this virus is so hard to fight.

Currently, the United States has not yet experienced the second curve of this virus. According to the experts, the United States is still in the middle of the first wave. The current plan to prevent the spread of virus is either not to visit the crowded public spaces or to wear a mask whenever you have to go out.
