Edward Snowden appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience, a free audio and video podcast and was interviewed by American comedian and television host Joe Rogan on October 23. The Joe Rogan Experience was launched on December 24, 2009 by Rogan and also produced and co-hosted with comedian Brian Redban. 

In the podcast, Snowden admitted, while he worked as a contractor for the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), he found no evidence in the conspiracy theory against US government. He could not find anything of secret extraterrestrial life forms like aliens in Area 51 of Nevada.

In his newly released book Permanent Record, Snowden affirmed the reality in climate change. As critics often consider climate science as a hoax; however, Snowden wrote in his book about climate change as a real thing. There is doubt in US’ moon landing, Snowden was sure of US landing on moon, and also stated aliens had not contacted US yet.

Snowden also denied Chemtrails, the chemtrail conspiracy theory, regarding it as an erroneous belief. The Chemtrails was described the long-lasting condensation trails are "chemtrails" consisting of chemical or biological agents left in the sky by high-flying aircraft, sprayed for nefarious purposes undisclosed to the general public.
