The heavy rain in Hyderabad India fell non-stop for nearly 48 hours. This caused several parts of Hyderabad to be under the water and thousands of people attempted to recover from this sudden natural disaster.
This accident caused several accidents. One of the most dangerous accidents was a car driver, identified as Venkatech Goud, sent out an emergency call for help. Unfortunately, the car was swept away by the powerful current and he was found dead.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao set up a meeting with many ministers and officials to receive the latest information. In addition, he also urgently requested the Central government to release about Rs 13 million for the urgent relief.
Officials had a brief presentation to the Chief Minister and reported that about over 735,000 acres of crops were damaged and the total loss could add up to Rs 20 billion.
This flood influenced several parts of Hyderabad and some colonies faced several issues, such as the difficulty of getting clean drinking water, the insufficient of food, and the hardship to restore electricity.
This severe natural disaster raised some questions since this is the most severe disaster in decades. Because of the illegal construction, inlets and outlets of a few lakes were stuck. Experts stated that this problem had stayed for a long time.
