Scientists revealed that the global carbon dioxide is going to meet another record high in 2019. Scientists also warned that the planet is running out of time to have an effective solution to reduce the emission of carbon dioxide.

Research results predict that the carbon dioxide emission will emit around 37 billion tons of carbon dioxide in 2019. It slightly increased 0.6 percent from last year.

The major emission comes from the demanding of oil and natural gas, according to the findings from Global Carbon Project, an international research center concentrated on sustainability.

Rob Jackson, professor of Earth science at Stanford University and chair of the Global Carbon Project, stated that it is difficult to tell that slow increase of carbon dioxide as a good news, but we need to attempt to decrease the emission now. Even though the emission of carbon dioxide is slow, it is still hard to achieve the goal set up in Paris Agreement.

Biggest emitters are China, United States, Europe, and India. They emit almost half of the carbon dioxide of the world. However, the positive information is that the United States and Europe are declining their carbon emission by 1.7 % in 2019. Reducing the usage of coal is the major reason for the United States and Europe to reduce the emission of carbon dioxide.

The findings also indicate natural gas and oil will cause the global warming even though there will be less emission of CO2 by reducing the usage of coal. The ultimate resolution is to propose the practical and effective policy on transportation and industry fields.
