Tupac Mosley, 17, recently received over $3 million scholarships and was admitted to more than 40 colleges. He graduated from Raleigh
Egypt High School in Memphis, Tennessee on May 19. After his father died in February, his family were unable to pay the house rent and forced to change their location now and then. Fortunately, his family were accepted to live at For the Kingdom, a camping site and nonprofit organization that was meant for leading Memphis' youth in the right direction.

Under such difficulty, Mosley still studied hard with a record of 4.3 GPA and had the opportunity of being a valedictorian. In his graduation speech, he thanked his principal and teachers and promised to make them proud of him. He mentioned “everything that you poured into me was worth $3 million and counting.” He also encouraged his peers never to lose confidence in themselves. He said, “Never let your current situation, whatever circumstances you’re going through, be a mountain that you can’t climb.”

With the big sum of scholarships, Mosley can move to a permanent house and he wants to attend Tennessee State University in the fall, majoring in electrical engineering. His story shows that nothing is impossible if you believe you can achieve it.
