POhWER, an advocacy charity in the UK, will start a research about the quality of emergency services and any issues seeking for improvement.
This research will interview anyone who had been facing mental health conditions, disability, etc. and using emergency services. The interviewees include patients themselves, their supporters, and workers in emergency services.
Then why do the researchers choose interviews rather than surveys? They wish to receive more useful and direct feedback toward the dilemma and solutions when using emergency services. Because of the pandemic, interviewees will be contacted by Zoom or phone calls within half to an hour and 6 to 8 questions. These interviews will start in August this year and schedules are negotiable. All feedback will be collected anonymously and studied under POhWER’s GDPR regulations.
