According to Bloomberg’s Vaccine Tracker, the biggest database of Covid-19 vaccine, over 128 million doses have been administered among 73 countries, and it will take about 7 years for the world to return to normal, at the current speed.

So far, Israel has become the country with highest vaccination rate all over the world, with 75% coverage in just two months. For the U.S., it will take about 10 months (in the 2022 New Year) to reach the 75% of the population.

However, it is possible to speed up vaccinations with an increasing number of vaccines available. For example, the world’s largest vaccine-manufacturing hubs in India and Mexico are just getting started. In addition, there are only one third of countries just starting to conduct their vaccination campaigns.
