Champlain Tower, a building in Surfside, Florida in the United States, collapsed. Four individuals have died as a result of this tragedy, while 159 people are still missing.

Those who had their dear family members living in that building remain hopeful and pray for the magic. Family members of the missing shared the information on social media. A resident, Barry Cohen, shared his memories of this accident. He was in bed. The sound of collapsing was just like an explosion of bombs. After this huge sound, the building collapsed. When he opened the door, he found there was nothing on the ground.

The catastrophe took place. People's attention was now drawn to the cause of the building's collapse. Is this a catastrophe caused by humans? However, after the rescue, the full investigation will begin.

According to the officials, this building has been present since 1980. But, it was under the process of structural repair. Then, a 2018 structural report on Champlain Tower was suddenly released to the public. The New York Times was the first media to report about this structural report.

The report stated that the deterioration of the waterproof under water pool would jeopardize the building's safety. The building's board of directors defended the serious flaws as being under repair. Some issues must be resolved.

In order to prevent any accidents like this, Surfside Mayor Charles Burkett, evacuated residents living nearby Champlain Tower.
