On September 3rd, five children’s bodies, including girls aged 1, 2 and 3, as well as boys aged 6 and 8, were found in an apartment in the western German city of Solingen. According to the police, the 27-year-old mother was the suspect who killed her 5 children.
The woman’s oldest child, an 11-year-old son, went to the school on Thursday as usual, while was picked up by his mother and asked to go to his grandmother’s house.
It was the children’s grandmother who informed the police of the possible crime. The grandmother lived 60km away in the city of Mönchengladbach, who had received her daughter’s message saying that she “couldn’t go on” and mentioned the marital issues with her one-year-separated husband, the 28-year-old father of her four youngest children.
The mother of the six is now receiving medical treatment after jumping in front of a train, and hasn’t been ready for questioning and apprehending by the afternoon of September 4th. The authorities were investigating the cause of the 5 children’s death.
