The National Human Rights Commission of India has set up an expert committee. It is to assess the effect of COVID-19 pandemic on human rights which are particularly important for the disadvantaged in the society. Those who do not have good living conditions include migrant laborers. 

Experts in public health, civil society, social sector and human rights are invited to the committee.  They are to offer suggestions to different level authorities by reviewing migrant’s difficult situations in all respects.  

The reviewing time is traced from the outset of the pandemic. They will consider the public health and how the states describe it.
