People Can Go Back to the Age of Dinosaurs via Google Search

On June 30th, Google announced to add 10 augmented reality dinosaurs from the movie “Jurassic World” to Google Search, through the collaboration with Universal Brand Development, Amblin Entertainment and Ludia, so that users can look at these extinct animals through their AR-supported devices.

 

The function putting augmented reality animals to searches was published at Google I/O in 2019, while only with the existing animals such as cats, scorpions, bears, tigers, etc., to make it a veritable zoo. 

 

The ARCore supported devices including Android device emulators, Android (Google Play), Android (China) and iOS devices using iOS 11 and up. Once you got any of the devices above, users can search for one of the ten dinosaurs via Google app, Google Chrome browser on the iOS devices, or on any browser on Android.

 

The ten dinosaurs include Tyrannosaurus rex, Velociraptor, Triceratops, Spinosaurus, Stegosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Dilophosaurus, Pteranodon, and Parasaurolophus.
