Pope Francis Writes A Letter to People in Northern Italy in Times of COVID-19

Pope Francis wrote a letter to people in Norther Italy to express his concern and care regarding the dangerous time of COVID-19. 

 

This letter was publicly released in the Pudua’s daily newspaper. Padua is the city located in the Northern Italy. This city just received the name of European Capital of Volunteering. In Pope’s letter, he encouraged the citizens to seize this chance to show their responsibility and present their talented DNA to the world. 

 

The motto of Pudua is “stitching Italy together,” Pope referred. Italy now should work together rather than take apart. After the wound and suffering, cooperation is the necessity. The letter released publicly in the Pudua’s daily newspaper, However, the purpose of the letter is for everyone. 

 

The Pope stated that under the difficult circumstances, God is still trying to speak to us. When people suffered the difficulty of coronavirus, this was the chance for me to serve citizens and to send out my prayer and blessing to human beings.

 

In addition to the care for people, the letter mentioned that this was a great time for men and women to show their capability and willingness to do more, especially for those medical professionals. At this critical moment, good will with cooperation and responsibility is extremely the wonderful boost for all. 

 

Pope’s letter concluded with the care for everyone. It is also the time to exercise the good will of all human beings.
