The student-led protest movement in Thailand is growing. As a Director-General, RuangsakSuwaree is working for Thailand’s Department of Rights and Liberties Protection under the Justice Ministry.  He is a key role in safeguarding those who are taking part in the movement.

Mr. Ruangsak toldthe Bangkok Postthat he believes human rights education can make peace with conflicts. It’s also good to build a better world.

Words of "rights", "freedom" and "human rights" are popular for protesters in this time.  Therefore, a common understanding is essential for both sides of for and against the Royal family.  Teachers from various level schools in10 provinces have attended the human rights programs held by the office. However, a subject of human rights was not able to set up for students in time. Schools was ordered to shut down by the pandemic.
