Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy to Perform at Arcadia’s 2024 Moon Festival

(September 4, Arcadia, CA) – The Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy is delighted to announce its participation in the 2024 Arcadia Moon Festival, which will take place on Saturday, September 14, from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Arcadia City Hall Lawn, located at 240 W. Huntington Drive, Arcadia.

This year’s Moon Festival, hosted by the City of Arcadia in partnership with the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce and the Arcadia Chinese Association, will showcase a variety of performances, including several by Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy. Traditionally, the Moon Festival celebrated the successful harvest of rice and wheat, with offerings made in honor of the moon. Today, it remains a cherished occasion for family and friends to come together, enjoy mooncakes, and admire the moon, which stands as a symbol of harmony and reunion.

Inspiring Celestial Drum Presentation and Martial Arts Performance:
This captivating display will convey the power of positive influence in changing the world. Through rhythmic, unified drumbeats, the performance will transmit positive energy, righteousness, and a harmonious spirit. Complemented by martial arts movements that promote peace and goodness, the performance aims to awaken the innate kindness within people, motivating everyone to contribute to a brighter future.

Powerful Dragon Dance:
The dragon is a revered symbol of prosperity, good fortune, and blessings. This vibrant performance requires the coordination and unity of all dancers, bringing the dragon to life. Through this dance, Tai Ji Men encourages people to work together, overcome the challenges they face, and bring health and peace to the world.

Graceful Lantern Dance:
In this elegant performance, Tai Ji Men members will dance with lanterns, symbolizing the guiding light. It represents a hope that all will ignite the light of conscience within their hearts, following its guidance toward a bright and promising future.

Tai Ji Men is an international, non-profit cultural organization committed to preserving culture and promoting the physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing of people worldwide. In 2000, Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, the head of Tai Ji Men, established two Tai Ji Men Academies in California.
