Australian government announced the tax relief package in October 2020. However, only few citizens can embrace the benefits. One of them is that who earns over A$50K can receive A$1,080 in 2020-21. While the others over A$120K get at most A$2,565 in the same period. 

Because of the limited policy, that’s why there are different opinions raised. Some criticized the tax reduction only give to the relatively high earners. Others mentioned the movement could trigger the unfairness, which was different from the original goal as social welfare. Employees could hardly obtain support from so-called “social wage” due to lack of tax reduction.

Therefore Australian citizens look forward to the taxation system with more equality and everyone can live happier.
