After a 16-month break, international cruises could sail to England again. Starting from August 2nd, the UK government allowed fully vaccinated passengers from the US and EU to enter the UK port without quarantine. According to an industry body, related businesses such as hotels, tour guides, and port operators could benefit from the new policy.

In accordance with the UK government, the travel advice of the international cruises would be modified for the travelers to further acknowledge the risks of cruise travel. With the new policy, Grant Shapps, the Transport Secretary, hoped the reopening of travel would be progress for people to enjoy with their family and friends who live abroad.

While the UK government granted the new regulation, the international cruises might not be accessible at the beginning of August. Ventura and Cunard, both from one of the world’s largest cruises companies, US giant Carnival Cruises, announced that the international cruises would sail at the start of October. Due to COVID-19, the international line cruise was one of the heaviest below industries.
