The second summit between United States and North Korea was held in Hanoi, Vietnam. The major concept in this second summit was to discuss the denuclearization in North Korea.

It was the long trip for both leaders: United States President Donald Trump and North Korea leader Kim Jong Un. Both of them were companied with their aides for two days meetings in Hanoi. The biggest challenge for Mr. Kim was to abandon the development of the nuclear weapon. Last year, the commitment of denuclearization was made in Singapore. Up to now, this commitment has not been practiced yet. 

Before the meeting, Mr. Kim and President Trump had the schedule to meet with Vietnam’s President and the prime minister. According to the White House, this meeting was the reclusive social dinner. 

President Trump and North Korea leader Mr. Kim’s official meeting, held on February 27 at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, began with laughs and talks with the reporters. President Trump also praised the big improvement in the latest meeting in Singapore. 

During the meeting, both of them had many agreements to reach. The major topic is about the denuclearization between North Korea and the United Sates. President Trump has made several flexibilities to the denuclearization so the North Korea can have some relief of the sanctions. On the other hand, North Korea would like to have the business development after the sanction relief. 

Sadly, after Mr. Kim strongly insisted that the United States should remove all the sanctions on North Korea, the talk in Hanoi did not make any joint agreement.
