Coronavirus has caused stress to the world. In addition to regulations that include re-routing Americans traveling into the country to different airports for screening, the US has begun implementing new guidelines for travel from China.

The United States and Australia said they would refuse entry to all foreigners that had recently visited China

Over 360 people have died in China up to this point, and over 17,000 have been affected across more than 25 countries.

To Americans who have traveled there over the past 14 days, the U.S. Homeland Security Department states that there are a total of 11 approved airports, inclusive of John F. Kennedy International Airport, Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport, where passengers can reach the U.S. with enhanced screening procedures.

Passengers that show no signs will be rebooked to their final destination and told to "self-quarantine" inside their houses, said DHS.

"Travel restrictions can cause more harm than good by hindering the sharing of information, medical supply chains and harming economies," said last Friday the head of the World Health Organization (WHO).

WHO suggests that screening be incorporated at the official border crossings. It has cautioned that closing borders may speed up the spread of the virus, with non official travelers visiting countries.

Over the weekend, the CDC and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued guidance for American-based flight, suggesting people to avoid crowds, stores, sporting or mass entertainment activities, and other circumstances that are likely to attract large numbers of people.
