It is said that mothers are angels sent by God. To celebrate the special month of May, Global People Daily News (GPDN), an independent international news media, would like to launch an online program, "Wonder Woman in My House? Happy Mother’s Day 2022!" In this program, we have friends from India, the United States, France, Mexico, and Iran, expressing their love for their mothers and families through cooking, singing, dancing, and poetry. Happy Mother’s Day to mothers around the world.
This program is hosted by Lisa and Maddie, a mother and a daughter. Lisa, with three adorable daughters, said she enjoyed the muffins, egg rolls, fruit salad, and juice that the kids made for her as a Mother's Day surprise last year. She feels that her family's love and care for one another is the most important seasoning in these dishes.

She said that she often cooks for her children and their families during the pandemic, and asked them to cook together. Cooking by ourselves is fascinating and the food is not only particularly appetizing but also healthy.
Ling-Chih, a mother, living in France, says that although her son has grown up, she is still cooking for her family tasty, low-priced and simple food that she found in a recipe. She considers it a pleasant thing to do so. Since the Russian and Ukrainian war broke out in February, the living cost has become higher. How to save money is especially important. She demonstrated on a cooking show a simple and delicious Thai dish with pork, chili, basil and other spices. That inviting-smelling food makes people drool.

Dylan Chien, a 6-year-old American boy, said that his mother is his best friend and that he sent her a card, expressing his love and blessings. Mexican composer Ivan Ricardi wrote a poem, " How nice is it to be a Mom," and turned it into a song, praising a mother as a gift from God. Both Azra Tajhizi, an Iranian English teacher, and José Salvador, a Mexican singer and songwriter, present their blessings for their mothers through music and poetry.

At the end of the program, Lisa, the hostess, states that being a mother is similar to playing multiple roles in a life-long show. Maddie agreed with her mother and said, “ No one needs a superwoman as long as one’s mom is around.”
That is right. Wonder Woman is in my house. I wish every mother Happy Mother’s Day. Thank you for what you have done for us. Your love nurtures us and helps us to grow up.
