Torrential rains in Sri Lanka have resulted in severe flooding and landslides, leaving 84 dead and forcing hundreds of thousands of people to evacuate.
As part of its participation in the International Charter "Space and Major Disasters," the Canadian Space Agency has provided RADARSAT-2 satellite imagery to mitigate the effects of this natural disaster.
