Feeling much cooler today for many compared to yesterday.

Today:

Mainly dry with sunny spells today, though there will be a few showers around, mainly over northern parts of the UK, turning wintry over the Scottish high ground. Feeling cooler for many compared to yesterday, especially across England and Wales.

Tonight:

Turning cloudier across parts of Scotland with outbreaks of rain developing, perhaps affecting Northern Ireland and northern England too. Elsewhere, dry with clear spells and turning chilly as a result.

Tuesday:

Outbreaks of rain continuing across Scotland, heavy at times in the west, moving into Northern Ireland and northern England later. Dry elsewhere, with sunny spells. Gales in the far north.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Outbreaks of rain moving south on Wednesday, followed by sunshine and showers. Some showers on Thursday, with further patchy rain moving south-wards on Friday. Rather cool, windy in the northwest.
