A Twitter viral video has garnered attention on a juvenile girl licking a carton of Blue Bell ice cream and putting it back the freezer at a Texas Walmart on July 4. It gave a 36-year-old man in Louisiana an idea to copy this “malicious act” and post the video on Facebook to gain some fame (though bad fame). 

Both cases are resorted to law. The girl would be given over to the Texas Juvenile Justice Department for investigation, according to the police department in Lufkin, Texas. The man was taken into custody on July 6 by Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office, Louisiana. He said he would like to buy the licked ice cream, but it just didn’t free him of wrongdoing. It is said that an adult could be sentenced 20 years in prison for his licking ice cream.  

The ice cream producer, Blue Bell Creameries, appreciated the warning from consumers and the help from the police to the incident. Currently, they have found and taken away the contaminated product. To show their determination to safeguard its ice goods, the Texas Walmart had posted a photo of a staff with a water pistol in front of the Blue Bell freezer for 18 hours and then taken away.
