In an era marked by the scrutiny of various ideologies, the undeniable urgency of the
global existential crisis serves as a stark reminder that "conscience" stands as the pivotal solution. Bearing this truth in mind, the Center for Studies on New Religions (CESNUR),Human Rights Without Frontiers (HRWF), and Tai Ji Men proudly unite to present a significant event: ‘’Tai Ji Men's Journey: A Fight for Conscience and Justice." Scheduled for August 15th, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, this transformative gathering will take place at the McCormick Place Lakeside Center, Room E353C.

‘’Tai Ji Men's Journey: A Fight for Conscience and Justice" is an impactful symposium that spotlights the unwavering commitment of Tai Ji Men's masters and disciples to their core beliefs. In this endeavor, they champion the pursuit of truth, the preservation of
individual freedoms, and the safeguarding of religious and philosophical liberties. The symposium, which unfolds within the halls of McCormick Place Lakeside Center, Room E353C, resonates with the profound narratives that underscore the human rights odyssey of Tai Ji Men's practitioners.

The forum featured a distinguished panel of eight esteemed speakers, each bringing
unique insights to the discourse. Among them was Massimo Introvigne, an illustrious Italian sociologist of religion and the visionary founder of CESNUR. Joining him was the dedicated advocate for religious freedom, Ms. Rosita Šorytė, who has been a prominent voice against religious persecution and discrimination.

Additionally, the forum showcased the perspectives of six venerable representatives hailing from the community of Tai Ji Men dizi (disciples). Their diverse experiences and unwavering dedication enriched the discussions, adding depth and nuance to the
exploration of conscience, justice, and the vital matter of religious and philosophical

Massimo Introvigne said that the forum was to introduce Tai Ji Men, an organization that
puts ‘’conscience‘’at its spiritual core. He emphasized that when we assess the importance
of Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, the leader of Tai Ji Men, in the contemporary field of spirituality, I believe that his guardianship of conscience makes his contribution particularly meaningful.

Rosita Šorytė said that Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, the Master (Grandmaster) of Tai Ji Men,
inherited the Inner Secret Tradition. Tai Ji Men Kung Fu is, in fact, the key to unraveling the mysteries of life and the world; it is fundamental to Dr. Hong's teachings about the role of conscience.

One of the key promoters of the United Nations' International Day of Conscience, Dr.Hong, Tao-Tze, Master of Tai Ji Men, Vice President of the United Nations NGO World Citizenship Association and President of Federation of World Peace and Love, stated that the theme of this year's conference is "A Call to Conscience: Defending Freedom and Human Rights,” is consistent with the direction of the culture of conscience for love and peace that Tai Ji Men masters and disciples have been promoting around the world for
many years. Dr. Hong suggested that the triangular balance of conscience, culture and education will create a stable and balanced path to human sustainability.

Six representatives of Tai Ji Men dizi (disciples) from around the world shared their experiences of practicing qi and mindfulness with their master, Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, promoting a culture of love, peace, and conscience around the world, and how they have stood up for freedom of religion and belief by insisting on their conscience and the truth when they have been persecuted for the past 27 years.

International human rights experts believe that the Tai Ji Men case that took place in
Taiwan in 1996 is exemplary and important internationally, and that if justice is not done, then we are all in danger. To date, nearly 1,000 articles have been written about the Tai Ji Men case, and every month dozens of scholars and experts organize forums in support of the case.
In conclusion, Introvigne believes that we should all be grateful to Dr. Hong for being a defender of conscience at a time in history when it is necessary to do so.
