Korean Air has been selected as the Airline of the Year for 2025. The South Korean flag carrier's dedication to "passenger comfort" was regarded as one of the primary reasons for its success.

AirlineRatings.com announced its annual list of the world's top airlines on January 17. Sharon Petersen, CEO of AirlineRatings.com, announced the top 25 Full Service Airlines for 2025. The top 25 airlines all meet specific criteria like safety, fleet age, and pilot training. They provide a complete full-service experience and an economy seat pitch of at least 31 inches.

Korean Air has received recognition for its commitment to passenger comfort. Meanwhile, Air New Zealand has maintained its position as the world's safest airline in 2025, according to AirlineRatings.
