According to a news report, Marks & Spencer (M&S), ASOS, and Lush are among more than 45 UK businesses that have assured the British government that they will hire Ukrainian refugees when they arrive.
Around 10,000 jobs will be made available as a result of a move led by Emma Sinclair, Chief Executive of Enterprise Alumni, entrepreneur, and journalist, as the UK faces labor shortages due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Brexit, and people want to help those fleeing war-torn Ukraine following the Russian invasion.
Ms. Sinclair, the program's driving force, claimed it had received a lot of support in a short period of time. Because the project is still in its early stages, many details about how it will work in practice remain unknown. Potential recruiters will meet with the Refugee Council to talk about the opportunities that will be available in their companies.
