Join Us to Spread Positive Energy and Bless the World

As the new year begins, bringing fresh opportunities and renewed hope, we sincerely invite you to join us for a joyous celebration! Tai Ji Men Qigong Academies in Pasadena and Walnut will host their annual Lunar New Year Gathering, themed "Love and Conscience: A Light of Hope  for the World," on Sunday, February 23, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at their Pasadena Academy. This event aims to unite kind thoughts, send blessings to the community and the world, and create a brighter and more hopeful future together.

A Cultural Celebration of Lunar New Year Traditions
Guests will immerse themselves in the rich traditions of the Lunar New Year while experiencing the unique cultural charm of Tai Ji Men. The event will feature Tai Ji Men’s Celestial Drum Performance, Auspicious Lion Dance, Kung Fu Tea Ceremony, Spring Couplets Writing, Roasted Tangerines, and more, offering a festive and heartwarming experience. Additionally, Tai Ji Men members will present a dance titled “The Five Wonderful Treasures,” sharing joyful energy and bestowing blessings of the five treasures in life—health, wealth, wisdom, joy, and happiness—wishing everyone a successful and worry-free year of the Little Dragon.

Recognized Internationally, Respected Locally
Tai Ji Men is an ancient menpai (school) of qigong, martial arts, and self-cultivation. Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, the leader of Tai Ji Men, has led his dizi (apprentices) on self-funded trips to 113 countries across six continents, earning the friendship and recognition of many international and community leaders. United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, various heads of state, and local leaders have extended their heartfelt New Year wishes through video messages and letters. California State Senator Bob Archuleta and various mayors have also praised Tai Ji Men’s contributions to the community and beyond.

Inspiring Life Transformations
Tai Ji Men dizi will share their personal journeys of growth and transformation:

Allen Lin, a senior corporate sales professional, will share how he overcame shyness and lack of confidence through practicing qigong at Tai Ji Men. With guidance from his Shifu (grandmaster), he unlocked his potential and is now confidently delivering presentations to VIP clients, excelling in his career, and earning high recognition from his boss.

Effie Chen, a special education teacher, will share how qigong practice has provided her with calm, positive energy, allowing her to become a more compassionate, patient, and wise educator, better supporting her students and their families.

Lighting the Heart’s Lamp – Prayers for the World
At the start of 2025, natural disasters have struck worldwide, with Southern California experiencing severe wildfires and floods. In such uncertain times, nurturing kindness, fostering positive thoughts, and spreading uplifting energy are more crucial than ever. This event will feature a special peace prayer song, encouraging everyone to light their inner lights, find inner peace, and send blessings to the world. Guests will also be invited to observe a 60-second moment of silent meditation to collectively pray for global peace and harmony.

The Bridge of Hope – Embracing a Bright Future
According to legend, the peacock, the king of birds, can ingest poisons and release fragrance, symbolizing the transformation of challenges into positive energy. At the event, a video featuring a beautifully crafted Tai Ji Men New Year card will be presented. The e-card showcases a radiant blue peacock, conveying the message: "Transform challenges into opportunities for positive change, cultivate good thoughts, and attract good fortune."

To conclude the celebration, all guests will walk across the Tai Ji Men Lantern Bridge of Hope, symbolizing the journey into the Year of the Little Dragon with good fortune, prosperity, and positivity as people embrace a bright future together!

Tai Ji Men warmly invites you to bring your family and friends to share in the joy of the Lunar New Year, unite in the spirit of love and conscience, and bring more hope and peace to the world!
