As much as 65 media and rights activists have been murdered since 2018, said UN on February 15. This trend, along with the lack of claims of responsibility, has emerged a feeling of panic among people. It has led many media worker sleave their jobs, homes and even the country for safety concerns.

Deborah Lyons is Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Afghanistan. She insisted that human rights and media workers have to continue to reach the world.Their words are more important than ever.

In UN’s recent report, it strongly suggests Taliban not to promote polices that kill human rights and media workers.  The civil society around the world is encouraged in any way to show your support.
